I am looking for a copy of the manual for the orginal Populous game,
by Bullfrog. The manual is necessary to save and play the game
properly, as it contains a set of pictoral passwords (a series of
little shields with world names attached) that you need to start,
save, etc.

I cannot find a copy of one of these anywhere online. All I am coming
up with are cheat codes to skip about levels, and text versions of the
manual (which are missing the password picture bits). (I also really
don't need the whole game w/box and manual from E-bay for $16 from the
UK which will take forever to arrive, but if I have to, I might :P )

Can you find me a copy of the manual, or at least the passwords that
go with the shield icons? I have the disk for the game, so I'm a legit
owner - I am running it in a DOSbox application, but I can't play
properly without the passwords.

It will take you to a newsgroup post listing the names of all 500
regular worlds in the original Populous game; furthermore, the names
of a couple of additional worlds that are not part of the campaign.
