Answer is 99, in the context of timer of microwave ovens. If you set microwave for 98, it's 98 seconds, 99 is 98 seconds. But 100 is 1 minute, that is 60 seconds. Let me know if my posting is correct and if I met the deadline, so I can post it as an answer. |

A correction: I made a typo in my previous comment: Instead of "99 is 98 seconds.", read as, "99 is 99 seconds." |

My concept was correct but made a trivial mistake. Answer is any number between, and including, 61 and 97. (in the context of timer of microwave ovens) For example, if you set microwave for 98, it's 98 seconds, 97 is 97 seconds. But 100 is 1 minute, that is 60 seconds. So, 97 (1 min 37 sec) is less than 98 (1 min 38 sec) 97 (1 min 37 sec) is greater than 100 (1 min) |
