I am an new patient prescribed and is using ADDERALL XR 10-20mg as
needed as directed.

My current medications are over the counter; Claritin-D, Prilosec OTC,
and St. John's Wort. And, occassional use of Cialis as needed,
although rare.

It is not clear from the company website what the specific
interactions with these medicines are.

1- I need to know if there are any enhancement effects, counteraction
effects, or additional side affects of using Claritin-D, Prilosec,
St. John's Wort, and Cialis with Adderall XR.

2- If any of these 3 effects exist, is the combined usage merely
cautioned, or is it not recommended?

3- If not recommended, what are the alternatives to Claritin-D,
Prilosec, St. John's Wort, and Cialis?

A quick response is much appreciated. I am committed to success on
this medicine and wish to make the appropriate adjustments.

The medicine appears to work very well for the prupose of gaining
concentration and focus if you are operating at a very high level and
tend to get distracted, or burn out too early in the day.

There are some mild but tolerable side affects. I do have
sleeplessness (I take 12hr Claritin D 2x a day - once late in day),
and some flushing (less than I do with other meds), both which are
known side effects.

Also a known side affect, I sense a subtle increase in heart rate;
primarily when resting. Much more subtle than say taking herbal
supplements. This is not a concern since no heart or BP issues in
family of my history, and my doctor will monitor, and provide a full
physical in 30 days.

I also have increased urination, which is not a bad thing. And,
increased sexual sensitiity together with harder erections. Also not
complaining there.

My concern is if the ADDERALL XR might work well because of enhanced
properties, and also perhaps there are side affects which can be
avoided if off the other 2 meds.

These are perhaps better answered (and answered quicker) drawn from a
medicine professionals' exisiting knowledge base, or from a user's own
experience, rather than a novice's extended internet research.

I have priced the question with that in mind, but of course welcome
relevant feedback from any and all sources. If you answer with
reasonable satisfaction and relevance, that is most important, and you
will be paid.

(As well, I suspect that a supreme and thorough answer to this
question, although not necessary for my purpose, might garner some
substantial freelance research or writing fee's elsewhere)

Free feedback is encouraged as well since I have no
prescription coverage and this medicine is dearly expensive. It is
quite an investment for me. Thank you.
