I am looking for some guidelines on what I should be paying to have
the roof of my two storey house in Brisbane, Australia restored. The
tiles are cement tiles, I am told 5 tiles need to be replaced, there
is a very heavy moss coating, the bedding & pointing is in bad
condition (and is causing two leaks). I think that the roof area of
my property is 246m2 (I may be wrong - but it's a standard sized 3
bedroom home).

The quotes I have received say that they will do the following:
1. Replace broken/damaged tiles
2. Pressure clean tiles
3. Repont & rebed mortar where necessary
4. Seal tiles
5. Re-colour

and that they need to set up safety rails around the roof to meet oh&s requirements.
