Hello! Numerous searches at both the Conde Nast main page and individual publication pages revealed no listings for this query. A telephone inquiry to Conde Nast Corporate Headquarters in New York City revealed that each individual publication is responsible for its own "Reader Service" (sometimes called "Shopping" or "Classifieds") sections. I was then connected to the Reader Inquiries person at Vogue, who informed me that not all Conde Nast publications offered such sections, and further stated that Conde Nast policy forbids giving the name of the person in charge of any given section out over the phone, for privacy and safety reasons. Conde Nast publishes the following magazines: Vogue, Architectural Digest, Glamour, Bride's, Self, GQ, Vanity Fair, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Conde Nast Traveller, Allure, House and Garden, Wired, The New Yorker, and Lucky. If you're interested in marketing your product or service through any of these publications, it is recommended that you contact the magazine of your choice directly. If you're unsure of which to contact or want to advertise in more than one of Conde Nast's publications, you should send a detailed written inquiry to: Corporate Communications The Condé Nast Publications 4 Times Square New York, NY 10036 That office may be reached by telephone, but it appears to only serve as a general switchboard to each individual publication - no other information will be given over the phone: 212-286-2860 I hope this helps point you in the right direction! Best of luck! |

I agree on thepossible need to contact each magazine individually. Of a sampling of the magazines published by Nast including Wired, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and House & Garden, only House & Garden had a reader service listing. The address for that service was different from the corporate listing in the front of the magazines. The holder of any post office box used to conduct business with the public is a matter of public record. The postmaster at that post office is required by law to disclose that information when requested. It's worth noting that post office employees not involved in management may not be familar with the law. The address shown was: House & Garden P.O.Box 5215 Pittsfield, MA 01203-5215 If the boxholder is not House & Garden or Conde Nast, it may be a company contracted to provide the service. A call to that company with a little ingenuity may get you a contact name. |
