Question ID: 601226
I have a RedHat Enterprise AS1 Update 1 box over on 100Mbps local
ethernet. I need to upload large files to it (movies >700Mb each) from
Windows machine. I tried SMB protocol, upload starts at 10000KBps with
33% load and then suddenly drops to 600KBps and 98% load on SMB
process. The excapt same goes for FTP with vsftpd - not very large
files (20Mb) uploads at 10000KBps, big files start at the same speed
and then sudden drop to ~600Kbps. VSFTPd is set to
local_max_rate=128000000
anon_max_rate=128000
But I login with local user (not anonymous), anonymous connection at
the same time download and upload at requested 128Kbps.

Any workaround?
