Greetings,
I am surprised that a top five bank would offer you a position but
refuse to sponsor your visa.
This is the government site for immigration and visa matters. As you
can see, unfortunately it states that the hiring employer must
sponsor, and even if one worked for two companies, both must submit
the proper form. IF the problem with the bank is that it does not
want to pay the $ 1000 fee, well, you might be able to arrange
something with the bank.

A major employer is extremely unlikely to employ you in any way if you
are being sponsored by another company.

Sorry that I have to provide disappointing information. I hope that
you can work something out, either with the bank, or by finding a job
with another company.
Good luck and regards, Myoarin

Clarification : The Bank will employ me as a consultant & hence I need
a consulting vendor to sponsor my H1-B....for fixed fee or monthly
servive fee.

Assignment starts in Oct-06
