I created a web portal for the Atlanta Malayalee community. It is the
only such service currently available for the purpose. Though I have
the tile, the meta keywords, all reflect this, even after a week after
releasing, I dont even show up in a google search for "Atlanta
Malayalees". How do I get to the top of the list?

P.S. I meant title not tile. Also the URL is: http://www.atlantamalayalee.com

Hi,

You have a lot of work to do on this site. First, one week isn't a
long time. 4-6 weeks is the normal waiting period for a site to show
up. Second, spiders may by pass your site because the frames, flash
and DOM from your Visual Basic program are leaving nothing for them to
grab and index. Key words are things of the past, you need much more
than that, you need robot accessible content.

Your design is good and attractive, but not robot friendly. The best
answer I can give you at this point is several things to read and to
try your best to understand. If you are programming in VB, which it
looks like you are, most of it isn't that hard to grasp.

There is a website that will show you what the robots are looking at
when they come to your site. You will notice that very few words are
being seen and none of your hyper links leading inside. This is a
problem.

Things to read.

Google Webmaster page, read everything on here and all the pages
linked to it, pay very close attention to the Do's and Don'ts and "Why
isn't my Page listed" areas.

Here's a good page to read on getting lots of visitors and improving
your PR

Here's another one about the Google Engine

To learn more about Page Ranks, go to :

and

The top page with that query has a PR of 4, you are going to need a
stronger 4 or a 5 to get on top.
