Hi uzzz,

It doesn't seem to be available for sale but according to the OCLC,
York University Law Library in Toronto has a copy. Perhaps you can
initiate an inter-library loan with your local library?

OCLC search:
://www.google.com/search?sitesearch=worldcatlibraries.org&q=%22treatise+on+legacies

A treatise on legacies: or bequests of personal property.
by William Ward
  * Type: English : Book : Non-fiction
  * Publisher: Philadelphia, New York, J.S. Littell; Halsted and Voorhies, 1837.
  * Subjects: Legacies -- Great Britain.
York University Law Library

Microfiche:
University of Calgary Library

Evidently it is available here too (the pdf crashed my computer so I
wasn't able to confirm):
  * Document Type:  Computer File
  * Contents: Includes index., Reproduction of original from Harvard
Law School Library.
  * Other Titles: Treatise on legacies, Bequests of personal property

Please let me know if this is acceptable as an answer or if you have
your heart set on purchasing a copy of the book.

Regards,
hummer

Actually the PDF file hummer-ga has linked to is a title list of
treatise available at the Thompson/Gale website, but there seems to be
a fee associated with viewing these actual titles. Here a link to the
home page with some ordering info:
http://www.gale.com/ModernLaw/

There are several more libraries that own the item, so the advice on
ordering an interlibrary loan may be the best solution.

Thanks for the comment bowler-ga. I appreciate that you have taken the
time to post a comment. I too agree that the interlibrary loan is a
good idea as I have looked around with no success regarding a possible
purchase.
