Thank you for this list - it's a good start for me.  I would like a
slightly expanded and more focused list since it appears that you know
the market. To help you better understand the type of firm I'm looking
for, here is some more information that may be helpful: a) Budget is
not paramount, so I'm not neccesarily looking for a firm that is
"affordable". Much more prefer the high-end webdesigner with style,
and willing to pay the bill. b) I do not really care about attracting
traffic to the site, nor will there be any e-commerce conducted. c)
Headquarters doesn't have to be in NYC, just a significant office.

Thank you again for your help. I thought I'd just add a few final
points. a) we are an investment firm with a somewhat traditional
background. Therefore, firms that specialize in animation, special
effects, music backgrounds, etc., while possibly helpful are not
paramount. That's not to say I don't value creativity, because I do,
and I want creative minds and souls at work, but relatively speaking,
the site will favor a professional atmosphere b) The site is primarily
for marketing purposes, so in this sense it will be basic with
information about the company, people, investments, etc. The one
exception is the secure section of the site where investors will be
able to log-in and check certain information stored in a secure
database. c) i am grateful for your help and am more than willing to
tip generously for valuable leads d) if you need any further
information to help your search, please don't hesitate to ask.

good start. could have used more targeted follow-up as promised. was
willing to double compensation for effort, but no response.
