we have some formulations for nail cuticles, nail fungus (as tot he
improvement of the appearance of the nails, we do not want to make any
medical claims), facial cleanser, shaving cream. how do i find peopel
that are willing to try them and provide us with a feed back? this is
not intended to be a full panel trial. it is just a preliminary
evaluation as to the unique merits of the products. essentially we
want to know whether they are a "WOW" or a " humph" |

You may want to consider a focus group. This is a group of people
(often selected for their demographic characteristics) who evaluate
and discuss a product or service, usually under the guidance of a
group leader who is a market research specialist. Focus groups can be
organized and facilitated by survey companies or market research
firms.

what is your definition of focus groups? i am looking for very
preliminary screening of products and to do this possibly by just
sending the products and a questionnaire

Focus groups certainly aren't the only way to go. Are you looking for
mailing lists, or for someone to design your questionnaire, or for a
service that will conduct the mailing from start to finish, and
analyze the results? What is your approximate budget for the project?
The more we know about precisely what you plan to do, and exactly what
you want from a Researcher, the better we'll be able to help you.
