Im looking for an old "Rock Scene" magazine that features KISS and is
about groupies, or refers to groupies. The article also has photos
shot by Bob Gruen at the Capitol Theatre in May or April 1974...one
has Gene Simmons licking the neck of a girl. I'm tryig to find out
which issue that article appeared in, ad where I can find (and buy)it. |

Thnaks bobbie7 - - I saw those issues on eBay as well, but I dont
think those are the one I'm seeking.
Asking some friends, we are pretty sure that the Rock Scene issue we
are looking for came out in 1974 or maybe even early 1975 - ie soon
AFTER the photos were shot by Bob Gruen in April or May 1974. We think
the article referred to "groupies", and included three shots of the
band at a wild party, with the band members and girls everywhere.

There's also a possibility that these photos, taken by Bob Gruen, were
in "Creem" magazine, rather than "Rock Scene" magazine.

Thanks Bobbie7, looking at those photos, I don't think that that
Creem's the one, (as we're specifically looking for the article with
the photo of Gene Simmons licking a girl's neck) but I'll order it on
the off-chance, and if it is I'll be happy to authorize the payment.
I also talked to Bob Gruen's office, and they don't recall which
magazine it may have appeared in...but said it possibly may have been
in "Circus" magazine as well.

No, it's not this Creem magazine. I asked the seller and he said
there's just a picture of them putting make up on a girl.
