I need a modern breakdown (reputable source from 2005) that shows the
breakdown of how first-time visitors are finding Websites>.

For example:

According to the XYX Internet Consortium?

46% Search Engines
24% Text Links form Sites
15% Typed (manually entered)
12% Banners
03% Other

Or something like that. The more info ? the better.

Please site your source and provide a link if possible.

Thanks!

Hi bobbie7-ga,

Thanks for the note and your research.

The answer I need will add up to 100%. So it will be something like
"In 2005 46% of all people visiting a site for the first time found
that site through a search engine while 24% used text links from oher
websites, 15% typed the URL manually..."

Thanks again,

Mike
