Could you be thinking of "Me and the Kid"? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081145/plotsummary "Harry (Danny Aiello) and Roy (Joe Pantoliano) kidnap Gary, a young boy. Gary's millionaire parents have taught him to fear everything. Due to phobias and allergies, Gary has rarely left their home. Gary eventually comes to see the kidnapping as an adventure. Meanwhile, the genial and avuncular Roy becomes his friend. After Roy parts ways with Harry and Gary, the police begin to close in on Harry, who must decide how he will separate from the young boy." Or "Bump in the Night"? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101520/ |

"Men and the Kid" is a comedy, so it definiety is not it. "Bump in the Night" sounds intriguing, but I don't think that is it either. I can't find much information on that movie. But I don't think anyone has got it right just yet. |
