Are there any differences between soft and hard packs in cigarettes other than the packaging? I've heard people say that soft packs are packed better and a little stronger than their hard packs counter-parts, but I want to know for sure. |

Being a smoker for 10 years now i can personally tell you that there is NO difference. The softpack ciggarettes are packed more because of the way they are shipped and the fact that they offer no protection to the ciggs inside. |

With hard packs, cigarettes don't fall out of the pack, in a womans purse for example. |

Soft pack cig's are just a hair longer than hard pack cigs. I can only say this is true for Marlboro, don't know for sure about other brands. |
