I am in the wholesale electronic distribution business as an
independant distributor and need to be able to look up the
oraganization, density and type of ram by entering the part number.
This needs to cover most major mfrs. of ram chips. |

Hi bob123456,
Do either of these links help you?
Understanding RAM chip Numbers:
Step 1: Who is the manufacturer?
"Figure out the manufacturer and click on the appropriate link below.
If you know the brand you can click directly on the brand name below.
If you don't know the manufacturer look at the first few letters of
the code printed on the chips and click on the corresponding letter
code."

These two sites I have seen before. They both stop at 64 megabit
density. If I had a site like these that covered up to 512 megabit
density and updated as densities increased it would be what I am
looking for.
Thanks

Bob,
Give us one or two part numbers (for chips above 64 megabit) as a test case.
I think I found a lookup system for you, but before posting it, I'd
like to test it out and make sure it does the trick.
Thanks.
