My daugher is getting married on June 24,2006. We need a prosessional
that is very regal and commanding. We do not want the familiar music
for example Trumpet Volentary. Perhaps something millitary? Can you
give me a name, where I could find it, perhaps a file so I could
listen.

It's always difficult to select music for a wedding without knowing
anything about the couple. I once heard Charpentier's Prelude from Te
Deum used as a processional at a wedding, and it was magnificent.

What do you think?

I am so sorry for the delay in answering. Said daughter was home for
the week-end and I am now recovering. She thought Charpentiers
Prelude from Te Deum was perfect and she has choosen it. Thank you so
much you were a very great help.

Wow, I am so tickled that my suggestion was on the mark! This is a
beautiful piece of music. It isn't very widely known, so your daughter
won't be caught in a cliché.

If you need assistance in finding sheet music or a CD of Charpentier's
Prelude from Te Deum, please let me know. I'll be glad to offer
further assistance.

Heartfelt good wishes to your daughter and her fiancé as they begin
their new life together!

Best regards,
pinkfreud

pinkfreud-ga does your offer for finding the sheet music to Te Deum
Prelude-Charpenter still stand? No one seems to be able to find it
here. Will the fee be part of my original question or will I have to
pay again. Music (2nd Try)

angle57,

Since you've already closed and rated this question, the request for
sheet music probably should be posted as a new question. That way it
will be open to all Google Answers Researchers, which will enhance
your chances of getting what you need.

Here's another selection for you to try: "Trumpet Tune and Air" by
Henry Purcell. In this clip, it's performed by the Canadian Brass, but
there are many other performers. Look for Track 12:

"Mars, the Bringer of War" from "The Planets" by Gustav Holst would be nice...
