My daugher is getting married on June 24,2006. We need a prosessional that is very regal and commanding. We do not want the familiar music for example Trumpet Volentary. Perhaps something millitary? Can you give me a name, where I could find it, perhaps a file so I could listen.

Wow, I am so tickled that my suggestion was on the mark! This is a beautiful piece of music. It isn't very widely known, so your daughter won't be caught in a cliché. If you need assistance in finding sheet music or a CD of Charpentier's Prelude from Te Deum, please let me know. I'll be glad to offer further assistance. Heartfelt good wishes to your daughter and her fiancé as they begin their new life together! Best regards, pinkfreud

Here's another selection for you to try: "Trumpet Tune and Air" by Henry Purcell. In this clip, it's performed by the Canadian Brass, but there are many other performers. Look for Track 12: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000003FV9/qid=1134186241/sr=1-8/ref=sr_1_8/104-8177013-8146347?s=classical&v=glance&n=5174 |

"Mars, the Bringer of War" from "The Planets" by Gustav Holst would be nice... |
