This is going to seem a particularly goulish question but:

In the winter of 1991, my roommate in college--Adam (last name I can't
remember)--had a father who killed his mother with an icepick or a
shovel, something horrible.  In the commission of the crime, the
father had a heart attack, was hospitalized, and then committed
suicide.

This would have been the winter of 1991.  Maybe early 1992.  In
Pennsylvania.  Probably around the Harrisburg or central Pennsylvania
area.  I honestly can't remember my roommate's last name, tho' I think
it was something German.

Adam and myself were freshmen at Penn State University.  These are
pretty much all the details I can provide off hand.  Can anyone
pinpoint this crime for me?
