Traditionally in China food is perceived to be divided into three
groups: cold, hot and neutral. These groups are not defined by
physical temperature but by the effect the food has on the human body.
I believe milk is considered to be a cold food because it cools the
body. Yogurt, being primarily milk, would have a similar effect. Even
if you heat up the milk, it still would have a cool effect on the
body.

Hi! I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough about that term. What I mean is
literally that I feel cold when drinking milk. So do other people.
Once in a while you even get the goose bums. And that doesn't happen
when drinking cold water for instance. So my guess is that there's
something in milk that creates an endothermal reaction while vodka
would create an exothermal reaction.

Alcohol actually lowers body temperature, but creates a feeling
of warmth. That is one reason the homeless who drink alcohol can die
of hypothermia.
