I run a couple of internet article directory sites, covering a wide range of
topics from automotive to webmasters I am looking for a source of free
to use content.

I get a lot of authors submitting but need more to get to my target of
100,000 articles by the end of March.

Can you recommend sources - not competitors sites doing the same
thing, ideally each site should have 10,000 of sites to make it worth
the effort of copying them.  I have been using
yahoo/group/article_announce which is the sort of thing I am looking
for, but can't find anything else with more than a few 100 listings.
