I own a small home renovation company and would like to sponsor a
worker who happens to be Mexican and would like to work for me, in
this country

Is the worker here or in Mexico?  If here, does he have a valid visa?
What would his job be with your company?  I suggest you consult with
an immigraiton attorney to explore these questions.
