Could you find some examples in the Bible of animals getting hurt,
crippled or killed by humans. The only one I know about is a guy named
Balem who whipped donkeys with a stick. If possible let your answer be
listed as, 1. 2. 3. etc. with a short explination. Thanks.

A guy named Benaiah killed a lion out in the snow:... "the son of

Also the guy he worked for named David killed a bear when he was young

animal sacrifice is not an example really since the animal was killed
in the swiftest way possible so that minimal pain is caused thus while
there may have been some pain the intention was towards taking the
animals best interests into account.
Besides the examples already mentioned one could consider the sending
out of the shegoat with all Israel's sins on it on Yom Kippur to be
cruel to said goat.
