I am looking for the "best cooking classes/schools" in France-- I am most interested in classes in Paris and Provence. I would like 2 lists one for good cooks and one for excellent cooks- or said another way- introductory or advanced. I would think best would be by an independent reliable source or by number of people who attend. I am giving this as a Xmas present- but several of us will go in on it so the pricing is less of a variable I am looking for meals and over all approach not a specialty class like sauces or deserts | |

PWD -- You can't beat Cordon Bleu for reputation and they run a variety of classes, from one-day short courses to professional classes: http://www.lcbparis.com/English/cm1.cfm?fid=86&lang=4 Best regards, Omnivorous-GA |

I loved Susan Loomis's book 'On Rue Tatin" and she runs a cooking school in France. I would absolutely love to go and do a cooking course with her because apart from it sounding brilliant, you just might end up in her next book! www.onruetatin.com PS: If you go, you *have* to let me know how it was!!! |
