I am looking to find a woman who either conned me out of $20 in Grand
Central Station or legitamately lost my address. We talked for four
hours. Her name was Cass Fitz. She said she was from Westport, CT.
She was co owner of a renovation comapny called DGSL Interior Designs
International. I can't find any reference of her. SHe has a large
mole on her right cheek and her left ear looks like someone once
ripped an earring out of it. Can you find this woman?

I have found no reference to either a business by that name or a
person by that name. If you loaned money to this individual, it may be
that you've been taken for twenty bucks.

Maybe that's why she got her ear ripped before, LOL.
Sorry! bad joke.

The "game" is still being played on Grand Central?! And people are
still falling for it. I once did 40 years ago. I look at the matter
philosophically, ditto for buying a magazine subscription at the house
door: it is something one has to fall for every few years, and like a
vacine it makes you resistant for a while. ;)

When you 'help out' a stranger, always write off the debt.

Probably you were conned, but 20 bucks for a 4 hour trick is a bit of
a time waster.

Console yourself that she was either an amateur or genuine
- in either case you made her day
- which is no bad thing for both of you

I would hate to cross you. I don't get it. Why are you spending $20
to get $20 back? In the end you still are out $20 if you find her.

I suppose it would be worth $20 to have one's faith in human nature
restored. I really hope that this 'Cass Fitz' person lost your address
and that your generosity helped her and that you'll continue to help
other people in true need (note, I say 'true'). It would be difficult
to accept that someone who'd been talking to you for 4 hours would
spend so much time on a pathetic scam, just for $20. You might never
know her story, there might be all sorts of reasons why she never got
back to you, but you know what? You know you did a kind thing and
you're a better person for having done it. Let it go and don't
begrudge it and you'll be all the happier for it.
