The most common rumor in the beginning had it at 30-40
million, as indicated on Oliver Thylmann's blog, which
cites a german blog:

A later update from Thylmann's blog states:
"By now I already heard numbers lower than $30 million,
going as low as $17 million, which would still be a
good number."

And many have considered that, at 30 million, Yahoo would have
paid about $100 for each member's bookmark list, so estimates
were revised downward, as on Greg Yardley's blog:
"Blogspotting says my 300,000 user guesstimate was spot on.
I still can?t believe Yahoo paid around $100 for my bookmark
list. Size of the transaction wasn?t announced but I?ve read
rumors of $30 million - $40 million. The lower figure feels
right to me, give or take ten percent - Yahoo?s too shrewd

figure wasn?t really based on the value of my bookmarks but
instead was the amount needed to give Union Square Ventures

Finally, CNN's Money page reported it to have been:

This seems to be the figure people are finding believable.
Yahoo's own finance page reported only the Associated Press'
standard release:
"The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company didn't disclose how
much it paid for New York-based del.icio.us because the
purchase price wasn't large enough to have a significant
impact on its finances."
