Actually, the names of Frédéric Chopin's three sisters were Izabela (=
Isabelle), Emilia and Ludwika (= Louise), while Justyna (= Justine)
was his mother's surname. His sisters' life dates are:
Ludwika Chopin: Born April 6, 1807 - died October 29, 1855
Izabela Chopin: Born July 9, 1811 - died June 3, 1881
Emilia Chopin: Born November 20, 1812 - died April 10, 1827
Frédéric Chopin's mother, Justyna Chopin (born Krzyzanowska), was born
September 14, 1782 and died October 1, 1861.
