12 companies in the space of the past 6 weeks or so seems like it
might be a lot to ask.

Can you loosen the criteria a bit?

Alternatively, companies that have either laid off employees, or have
announced layoffs since Nov 1(but possibly haven't implemented them
yet) seems much more do-able.

kengeneca-ga,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The job cuts, or announcements of same, that I found from the past few
months for Chicago-area companies are listed below. A few companies
appear on the list more than once, as a single company may have
announced layoffs at different subsidiary companies.

I trust the information below fully answers your question.

However, please don't rate this answer until you have everything you
need. If there's anything more I can do for you, just post a Request
for Clarification, and I'm happy to assist you further.
