I want to build a motion control robot for doing timelapse with a
digital camera. I can handle the software, and mechanical aspects of
this task but I am having trouble coming up with the right
electronics. I would like to avoid designing my own circuit boards
etc. I need a tiny computer that has the following abilities:
1. Runs linux
2. Has host USB (to control the camera) and Host USB drivers. (The
actual protocol for the camera is not a problem.)
3. Does not consume a lot of power.
4. Can also interface with a stepper motor controller.
5. Possibly a bluetooth client.

I was interested in using gumstix (www.gumstix.org) but it does not
seem to support Host USB.

Hi,

You were right the first time. gumstix has USB available

For host there is this card ( the linux kernel in 2.6.12 includes a driver for it)

which can be used with the cfstix
