Hello, I am looking for help identifying highly regarded nursery schools in Philadelphia. My wife and I are planning to move there this spring and have a 22 month old. Recognizing that everyone has there own perspective on what makes for a "good" school, we are looking for schools that place an emphasis on development of the ?whole child?. http://openhousenurseryschool.com/ is the website of a school Brooklyn that we would send our son to if we weren't moving. We would specifically like information on "good" nursery schools (if any) in or near each of the following Philadelphia neighborhoods: - University City (near the University of Pennsylvania) - Queen Village - Rittenhouse Square - Fitler Square - Washington Square West - Northern Liberties - Art Museum Please provide a web address or short description and contact info for each recommended nursery school. A quick note explaining why each school is recommended would also be ideal. |
