I am looking for the list of the 10 persons/agencies considered as the
TOP 10 best web designers in the world. Possibly with at least one
sample of website created by each.

I am talking about graphic design, not specially the technical stuff behind it.

Hello,

I think this could be part of the answer, it depends on the award
itself, and its reputation.

Probably the answer can be complete by founding several awards for
webdesigners/websites and cross reference them.

Hi again jyang-ga!

I'm afraid that cross referencing will not do the trick here since
there are too many companies out there. Anyway, here is a profile of
the organization that I have mentioned in my first clarification.

I think this group is quite prestigious.

The organization has been around since 1997. Respected organizations
have been involved in judging past winners. Some of them are the
following:

- Microsoft 
- Ernst & Young
- BBC Worldwide Americas
- Saatchi & Saatchi
- 3M Company
- A&E Television Networks

The organization has also received entries and joined by judges from
22 different countries. Winning firms have designed web sites for big
companies like Nokia and Adobe.com.

Would such an award giving organization be prestigious enough for you
and the qualify as an answer?

OK, I understand your point on cross-referencing.

I don't need to go back to 97, I think that 2005/2004 will be OK, I
need names of people sstillin the business and up to date with latest
web evolutions.

Let's say that this award will do, can you instead of just sending me
the link to awards page, extract the details about 10 best
companies/designers of 2004/2005?

Hi once more jyang-ga!

Upon inspection of the list of winners for 2004/2005, I found out that
although that entries come from different countries, almost all the
winners are from the US and only one for Mexico. Information on
non-winning entries are not available on the website.

Plus here is a breakdown of the number of awardees per year.

2005 - 7 web design firms
2004 - 7 web design firms

Will this still be acceptable as an answer?
