Hello dooy,

Thank you for your question regarding reptiles/bluetongues in NSW. The
most relevant/official document on the web in relation to keeping a
reptile in NSW can be found at The national parkes and wild life
service at the following link

http://www.npws.nsw.gov.au/wildlife/licence/reptile.html

This describes:
- The licensing system
- Buying reptiles
- Sick and injured reptiles, and relocation of reptiles

my search strategy

Should you require further clarifications please don't hesitate to ask

kind regards

Hello again,

There is a very nice site about blue tongue lizards from the ABC at

http://www.abc.net.au/schoolstv/animals/BLUE-TONGUEDLIZARDS.htm

this site informs us that "They eat snails, slugs, flowers and fruit.
They don't chew their food. They hold and crush it."

incidently I'm from Canberra and there is a blue tongue lizard living
in the rockery near my house.

regards
