Hi, 

I am looking to find out the current price level in the German toy
market amongst market leaders in 4 main categories:

Pretend Toys, 
Arts and Crafts, 
Educational Toys
Construction toys.

In addition I am interested in knowing the average price level for
wooden toys in Germany

All above toys are for boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 11

A good answer would give the names of the brands - few examples and
links to web sites where I can view photos of the toy.

It will give me a good introduction with the German Toys market and in
particular the wooden toys and activities one. Well at least a
starting place for further research

There are lots of website with German wooden toys.  Just search for
"holzspielzeug".  Here are a couple of extensive ones:

On the first site you can click on price ranges on the sidebar.
The second is Quelle, a major mailorder department store.

Of course, it helps if you read a little German, but you can see lots
of items and prices.  1 Euro/? is about US$ 1.20.
