I had subscribed a real-estate coaching program at a seminar but I cancelled after two weeks before I had received any program service such as thier CD or coaching program. The Company wouldn't accept my cancellation still send out items. I called the credit card company and went into the Dispute but after five months dispute I only can have two-third of money back. According to Credit Card Company that is final amount. Can I close my account and not to pay? Let the amount went into collection? What is the consequence? Is there a way to continue to dispute the charge? What is my next soulation? Can I close my credit card account and refuse to pay it? what the consequence will be? What is the best soulation I can have? |

I have very a good credit. I don't want to pay the remainder charge because I feel I was cheated by the consulting company but credit company refuse to continue and said that is all they can do and case is closed. By the way this is the first time I am facing this problem. Can I just close the credit card and ignore the charge let it be delinquent? |

I was not implying that you currently have bad credit. But leaving the delinquent charges could possibly lead that way. |

You need to read all the "fine print." Break out that magnifying glass, all contracts are different, we can't tell you what your cardmember agreement states, but I guarantee you, it's in there, somewhere.. |
