Why does www.norfolklifeswap.org.uk cause IE to crash and FF to hang
when you try to print out the page?

Dear shanemccracken-ga,

I not sure what you are seeking by way of an answer but the problems
you are having is caused by poor web design. It seems to me that the
CSS style sheet does not correctly specify how print media should
display and print the page and I suspect the several javascript items
are interfering with the printing.

On my Firefox it does print but it covers 4 pages with the images all
over the place and partly off the page. My IE also crashed.

Let me know as to how you wish to proceed from here.

Sorry for the dealy in getting back to you. The issue kinda slipped.
TBH b_cummins ga has provided half the solution and has allowed me to
print it in IE at least.

Right, I did a bit of debugging, the issue causing ie to crash is the
float: left bit in the follow part of the css.

#maincol div.greenbar {
background: url('../../images/greenbar.jpg') no-repeat left top;
height: 22px;
width: 628px;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
 float: left
}

if you remove that "float: left" - ie will print it... now, I dont
know why it crashes.. but least you know what is crashing it now.
