Where can I get a database with pictures of books' covers? For
example, when you search by ISBN number on Amazon.com, a picture of
the book comes up, e.g.
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0515140872.01._AA240_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg.

Where can I get a database of these pictures with each picture having
an ISBN number assigned to it?

Please note, I am aware that I can query Amazon's database via a web
service but that's not what I am looking for. I want my own database
with the pictures of the covers that I can upload to my web site,
ideally for free.

I will consider an option of paying for the service that explicitly
allows querying their database to get a picture by supplying certain
parameters. Amazon does this but you are supposed to use it for
selling their items.

Hi bookworm1234,

How's this?

Collectorz.com [30-day free trial, $39.95 Pro edition]
"Download all book data
Including cover image, author, title, publisher, year and genre."
Export your book catalog (Pro edition only)
"Using the Export to HTML feature you can generate HTML pages of your
inventory, for use on your homepage or website."

hummer

No, that's not quite what I am looking for. I contacted their support
department, they are saying:

Book Collector is software that queries other online infor sources. We
don't manage our own online data for Books. I suggest going directly
to sites like Amazon and look into their Web Services.
