I am looking for a train-like vehicle that works on rails for my
daugther (18 months) which should be designed to sit on and drive with
it (indoors, electric). It should therefore be of about the size of a
bobby car with electric motor and rails. I have
seen this but cannot remember where. Please help me find this! Thank
you very much.

Dear dcm1,

A children's train as described by you is made by the toy company Peg
Perego. A set that consists of a locomotive, a caboose, battery,
charger, and a 93"x76" oval track is, for example, available from
WalMart $154.78:

An extension track set is available from the same source for $47.82:

I hope that this is what you were looking for!
