Dear prescotttom, The poem is Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Sicilian's Tale - King Robert of Sicily", from his poetry collection "Tales of a Wayside Inn" (1863). Actually, the correct first lines are: "Robert of Sicily, brother of Pope Urbane And Valmond, Emperor of Allemaine..." You can read the complete poem here, at Treasures of the Internet: http://treasuresoftheinternet.org/american/poetry/longfellow_hw/wayside_inn/I/wayside_inn_108.shtml Regards, Scriptor |

Not only the name of the poem but the name of the poet and the full poem itself. I am amazed and very pleased with this service. I wish I had more to tip. |
