Esseye,

Do you need this data for for the United States or worldwide?

For the U.S. I located the following number.

According to the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, there
are 64 million takeoffs and landings per day.

"This nation's air traffic controllers ensure the safety of 64 million
takeoffs and landings per day. Air traffic controllers use their
skills and judgment to safely direct more than 600 million passengers
annually to their destinations."

Would this information meet your needs?

Thanks, Bobbie7

Would like worldwide figure.

64 million sounds amazingly high for the US alone. Are you sure this is right?

Sorry, tThat should have been per year not per day.

Below you will find more relevant information.

How many flights per day do air traffic controllers handle in the United States?

"On any given day, more than 87,000 flights are in the skies in the
United States. Only 35 percent, or just over 30,000 of those flights
are commercial carriers, like American, United or Southwest. On an
average day, air traffic controllers handle 28,537 commercial flights
(major and regional airlines), 27,178 general aviation flights
(private planes), 24,548 air taxi flights (planes for hire), 5,260
military flights and 2,148 air cargo flights (Federal Express, UPS,
etc.). At any given moment, roughly 5,000 planes are in the skies
above the United States. In one year, controllers handle an average of
64 million takeoffs and landings."

Are my findings satisfactory?

Thanks, Bobbie7

You might check this site to see how few planes do not land safely:

Just for comparison, Chicago's O'Hare airport has about 2700 flights
per day, and that is just one of many large airports.
