I want to pay for graduate school with a Visa credit card. My school, University of Denver, does not accept credit card payments. Instead, University of Denver has an agreement with Tuition Management Systems for students who wish to pay with credit card. Unfortunately, as of December 1, 2005, Tuition Management Systems no longer accepts Visa credit card payments(Tuition Management still accepts American Express, Mastercard, and Discover). However, I do not wish to use any credit card other than Visa. Do you know of any way to continue to make tuition payments to University of Denver using a Visa card? |

Many larger banks that offer credit cards and banking service under one roof allow you to use your credit card as a source for bill payments. Most of the bill payments are electronic but if the payment cannot be made electronically, the bank (or some 3rd party) will cut a physical check and send it to your payee. As long as your school accepts mailed checks, you should be able to do this. |

I would think if you did it that way you would be subject to interest immediately and probably a cash advance charge. |
