I am trying to identify a graduate course in brand management at an
Australian university, particularly as it may relate to professional
service companies. Can someone provide me with a list of these
courses, and a suggestion as to how to identify the "best".

Dear Judy,

If you meant by "course", to a degree dedicated to the subject of
brand management, I'm afraid that this doesn't exist in Australia (as
far as I can tell) and that brand management as a subject is
incorporated into degrees in marketing.

However, if by "course" you meant modules or units within existing
degrees, these exist in numerous universities, and some could be also
taken independently (without taking the whole degree).

I began with the highest ranked universities (according to business
school rankings), and continued with the rest of them.

Australian Graduate School of Management
Strategic Marketing of Consumer Products and Services

Australian Catholic University

Naturally, the ranking I've presented is only one possibility for you
to identify the best for you. It might be that the best for you is
based on faculty (if there are several people in the faculty who
specialise in brand management and could - for example - supervise a
thesis on the subject); on location; on other conditions (work
opportunities, for example).

I hope this answers your question. Please contact me if you need any
