Through the history of the USA, the presidents have been seen as a
wise and respectable persons. This has been strengthening the image of
the whole nation. What I have been seen as quite peculiar, is the
image and hidden agenda behind the huge campaign for making a man
who's only political strengthnesses are his name and a familiar face.
I'm not on his side or against him, and I respect his good will. There
are some factors in the big picture that makes me wonder, is he
prepared as a scapegoat for some intentionally disastrous decisions?
If the future shows that, and the easiest would be to blame the
president, I hope that people would understand then that the desicion
was made elsewhere.

"Through the history of the USA, the presidents have been seen as a

This has actually very rarely been "true". Our government has been a
two party system for a very long time and rarely over the course of
our history have both parties been happy with the current president.
Its only been in hindsight or wartimes (namely WWI/II) were the
presidents considered good by the majority.

There are very few periods in American history where one party
dominates all three branchs of govt. as is the case since 2000. Hard
to figure who else to credit/blame for all policies than the Bush
Admin. and the Republicans in Congress.
