a 33% discount.  I am so glad that I didmy homework first.

Any ideas on how I can try to get money back from this site?  My

i cannot believe people could scam like this my boyfriend ordered a
nano ipod for me for xmas 14 days ago when it didnt arrive for xmas
and an email he sent them wasnt acknowledged he told me he was a bit
leary because they would only accept money orders and they were
written not to the company but to a persons name please help us try
and bring these people down and maybe get our money back

they have a new address in north carolina when we sent ourmoney order
it was sent to fla and to a different name they are so scamming

Yea!! I am glad that I did research before i purchase from this site.
I don't want to lost 159.99 for the ipod nano on this site. I am glad
that i just use $10 tofind out an other scam website.

Unfortunately I didn't do my homework first...me and my sister sent a
money order for an iPod $169.99 and PSP $159.99 to besteprice.com. I
have reported besteprice.com to "Internet Fraud Complain Center",
there website is www.ifccfbi.gov, maybe this will be helpful for
others such as myself.

Since my last post I have received my money order back via mail with a
letter from the person who's name was listed (Gerold ?). I hope and
pray everyone else was blessed with their funds returned as well.

Unfortunately, I too have been a victim of this scam.  My son came to
me with high hopes of finding the "best" offer for the Xbox 360...
when I saw that credit card transactions were not accepted i was a bit
skeptical but my eager son kept insisting that there were only so many
days left to purchase and so being very naieve and in the Christmas
rush to purchase i made out a money order for $279 and sent it off to
WONDERLAND !!! After repeatedly emailing the contact seller I've yet
to hear word back !! I'm wondering if there is anyway to get my money
order sent back ??!

whoever got scammed by this "company"  I would suggest you file a
complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I hope all of you got your money back, and for those of you who tried

system from besteprice.com, however it sounded too good to be true. I

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but besteprice isnt going anywhere
this is thier 3rd domain name in as many months i have been keeping
track of them since PSP 1st came out, they have always offered it for
159.99 i was skeptical at first this is when the name was BUYFIELD.COM
so i didnt buy it, just kept checking everyday to see if the website
disappeared,low and behold rite b4 christmas they were gone only to be
back in a few days with the same webpage design same products and
prices under a new name they have a very elaborate scam, i just wonder
if this many people lost money under BESTEPRICE.COM how many people
lost money under the other names the site has operated under? i hope
someone is able to bring this site down.

I too was scammed by them...maybe it was the holiday rush...or the 34
percent discount that I was attracted to. I just hope I get my money
back so I can just go to a real apple dealer and purchase an ipod. but
I have taken action by letting the ifccfbi.gov know and the ftc. so

into buying from besteprice without tell me, mainly because of the
price and the rush to get something for my dad. Anyway she sent the

I saw this site too.  The scary thing is I found it by following the
first link on a google search "Digitalvolume.biz/psp.htm"  showed me
the cheap PSP I clicked it and took me straight to besteprice.com...

I am one of the victim of them. I bought 4 IPOD VDO and after they
receive my money order...there was no response and the website is
alredy closed!!!!

Shame on me..that I did not do homework before buying. For everybody I
suggest you to go to report to police both your area and area that you
sent the meney order to (for me is "RED SPRINGS, NC)and also FBI
website...so that we may catch them and get our money back (the higer
complaint people the higher priority to check).
The person who we sent money to is "IDA MCEACHERN" and I found a
website that have this person informaiton...(but we need to pay for
$40 and I didn't pay and see also)

I wanted to purchase psp from this website. However, i feel like this
is too cheap. Therefore, i just give 15 dollars to check this website
before i waste 190 on the psp. It is worth it.

Well, I'm about to cry.  On December 21st I thought I found the deal
of the century so I sent Mr Ida $539.98 for two XBOX 360's.  I figured
it must be legitimate since I got the link from Amazon.com.  Two weeks
later I called and called and started e-mailing and I never got an
answer and now I know why.  Amazon told me tough luck and it would
appear that I've learned a valuable lesson.  I am so far beyond angry
right about now.

I did both report the police and post office at Red springs, NC (place
where I sent the money), but both of them cannot do anything....
I don't understand, why??? the P.O. Box is still active and the post
office  has the evidence of *Mr/Ms Ida* for renting the P.O Box 613.
WHY THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING?
I also sent claim request to company I bought money order but it took
at least one month to get the money back (if Mr/Ms Ida) don't cash
money that time, I will get the money back---that 0% chance.

hard drive when I found this besteprice site.  When I saw the prices
listed for so many popular products I wanted to grab my credit card.

order. how can i get my money back. is the postal service going to

I bought my money order for the XBOX but held onto it to track this
company because of all the red flags.  I am so mad and I did not even
lose money so I really feel for those of you that did.
As some others have mentioned:
Customer service number is disconnected.
Fax is dissconnected.
PO Boxes are very suspicious.
Money orders are even more suspicious.
No one anwsers the emails.
And MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!!
One month ago this company was GOTFIELD.COM.  I am sure it is the same
scam artists!! The name and site are changed but the way the products
are listed and displayed is the same.  Of course GOTFIELD is gone and
replaced by BESTEPRICE and now it is gone.  I searched for another
similar web site and did not track it down yet. But I am sure it is
out there.
How do these people sleep at night.  The Karma factor is really going to get them!

a camera off the site and i received both of them so they are a
legitimate site

wouldnt order it without calling their customer service first

Do not order from them. My husband found the best price for a PSP of
159.99 from them. He sent a money order to a PO box in Colorado. The
money order was already cashed when we found out about this company. I
have filed a complaint with the BBB but the letters are now being
returned from the address that Besteprice gave. I have sent letters to
the PO box of the "seller" but haven't received a response. I filed a
complaint with the internet fraud department but only received one
voice mail from the States Attorney's office about this and they
haven't returned my calls. I called the CO police department but they
cannot do anything because I the victim live in MD.

I think I found the new gotfield.com/besteprice.com incarnation.
Devicefield.com has the same product range and similar prices, with a
similar interface. anyone know about this site?

I was surfing today for a psp for my nephew and came across
www.directfield.com for only $139.99.  It looked legit until the
confirmation came back stating I need to send a money order written
out to Theresa Dryer.  I was very skeptical and thought to myself I
should do more research & came across this posting.  I believe
besteprice.com reincarnated into directfield.com, I hope all of you
the best in getting your money back.  I am definitely going to report
this site to the various entities and try to shut them down.  This is
absolutely unacceptable, they shouldn't get away with this.
