I have a simple website that was created using a template. The site
is: http://www.PentictonRentals.ca

Viewing the site with IE it looks fine but with FireFox the orange
menu at the top stretches down almost the whole page. It is not as
bad on other pages within the site. Is there a SIMPLE fix to make the
page look normal when viewed by Firefox visitors?

Hi Craig - I have 2 computers with different versions of Firefox and
they both give the website looking like this:
http://www.pentictonrentals.ca/firefox.jpg

Is it just my computers that make it look like this?

I'm using an older version of Mozilla (1.6) and, as the page
was in the process of loading, I noticed that the menu was
stretched in the manner of you picture, but as it finished
loading, it (fairly quickly) shrank to normal size.

I wonder if it's a matter of an incompleted page load that
you're experiencing. Is your browser acting like it's still
actively processing the page load, or has it completely
stopped?

On both of my computers it loads completely, says Done on the bottom
bar and the orange section remains completely stretched down the page.

I guess it's a good sign that it doesn't look messed up on all computers.

I'm viewing your website with Firefox right now and it appears to be
the exact same as in IE.

I'm using Firefox 1.5.

I'd suggest that the problem you're experiencing is either version or
machine dependent and will not occur with people who have upgraded
their software to the newest version.
