It shouldn't be too difficult really, just tedious, since most countries are only in one time zone, and the others like Russia and Australia are split by interior borders that would allow a search for populations, ditto for the States, of course. Maybe there is a website with national populations in a handy list. Here is a map: http://www.worldtimezone.com/ |

HI, Two thoughts on the subject: Probably there is a very great concentration of population in the time zones of India, with the addition of the Chinese, but does that really interest you, or will your site interest them? Universal Time (ex-Greenwich Mean Time) might add sophistication, and most people know immediately the difference to their own time zone. (And maybe it is easiest to access ?)
