I would like a list of all of the vice presidents or higher (Senior
VP, presidents of divisions, Board Members, etc) who have retired from
Time Warner electronic divisions within the past 5 years. I am not
interested in book or magazine people.

ketobear-ga,

There doesn't seem to be a very large number of retirement
announcements from Time Warner that meet your criteria, and some of
those that pop-up don't really identify the expertise of the retiring
executive.

Here's a sampling of what I've found:

29 December 2003
CABLEFAX
...Time Warner vice chmn Kenneth Novack will retire Jan 1 and remain
an outside director.

20 March 2000
Electronic Media
...James Cottingham, Time Warner Cable executive vice president, is
retiring July 1 after more than 25 years with the cable operator.

Newsday
April 27, 2004

...Cablevision Systems Corp. yesterday named Tom Rutledge, who has
overseen a surge in Internet and digital cable TV customers since
shifting over from Time Warner Cable in 2002, as its first chief
operating officer since 1998....Another Time Warner Cable alumnus,
John Bickham, who headed that company's cable systems in three
southern states and in Los Angeles before that, will take over
Rutledge's job as president of consumer cable operations.

I have only a couple more like this that I found, and as you can see,
some are job changes rather than retirements.

Are these on target? If so, how do you suggest I proceed at this
point, with so few results?

You can go to http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.timewarner.com
to see a copy of the Time Warner website starting from 1998 to date.
You can then go to the relevant section of the website (e.g. Chairman
or VP speeches) to find out who was who at that time. You can repeat
that year by year to build your list of people.
Hope this helps.
