My best guess on roughly how many people use gmail is 83 (+ or -5) and diskspace usage would be around 360 Kbytes max. Hope this helps. |

I think he was kidding (badly). 360 Kbytes max for everyone is a ridiculously small number. |

My guess would be about 10 million. Of course its just a random figure so its probably out by several factors of 7. And disk usage? Note the program Gmail drive shell extension: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/E-mail/Mail-Utilities/GMail-Drive-shell-extension.shtml. This probably means that quite a few people are using a lot of their >2.6GB limit. Guess: one large warehouse of hard drives, approx 500 million tons, power usage of a small town. |
