I'm doing research on the bar and restaurant industry and need some
quick statistics.

How many individual taverns (bars) are in operation in the US?  Either
franchise or independent.
What are the top 50 US casual restaurant chains (like Chili's and
Bennegans)?  And how many establishments do they each have, a link is
fine.
