probonopublico-ga How did you solve for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? Just a guess? |

How? I used the Cheltenham Attack Strategy 477.v3 with Fort Meade algorithms from their ?Axel? Suite. As you may know, these are routinely used to evaluate all unusual messages, some of which may have been encrypted. Over 200 possible solutions were identified but the ?Rudolph? solution was preferred because of its seasonal nature. The details are, of course, classified. However, for your own peace of mind, I suggest that you assume the ?wild guess? proposition. A Merry Festive! |

Probono, Good to see that you haven't lost your sense of humour. ;) How's Daisy? I have been cranking my old Enigma device all day, and you are right, but it is German: Rudolf, das rotnaesige Renntier It actually was all run together without the spaces. I don't know if that was the practice in WW II, but maybe the person encoding the text also didn't know whether or how to include spaces. And a very merry fest to you, Myo |
