While watching anime on Japanese television, I saw, in either the
opening or ending theme, a old bald guy with a tree growing on his
head. It's like a little bonzai tree or something with one or two red
fruits growing on it. Unfortunately, I can't remember what show it's
from, and it's really starting to bug me. What anime is this from? |

I'm pretty sure he isn't, actually. Another thing I forgot to mention:
the character, as far as I recall, hasn't actually been in the show,
whatever it is, at least as far as I've seen. I'm pretty sure he was
ever only in the opening...

I don't believe so... I don't really remember what he was wearing, but
from what I do remember, he was only in the opening theme of *some*
anime for a few seconds, thus far in whatever series it was. Anyway, a
friend of mine had the thought that it was a show called Bobobo-bo
Bo-bobo, but it isn't, so if that was your thought... :/

Unfortunately, that's not the same character... :/ It has to be from a
recent show, because that's really all I've seen... unfortunately, I
can't find it. My original thought was a show called The Law of Ueki,
but if it is that, I couldn't find it anywhere. My other thought was
Marchen Awakens Romance (MAR), but once again, I couldn't find it
there either. Perhaps my search is futile?

Perhaps the cartoon series may not even be anime. It can be another
distorted-form cartoon from another country, much like the current
Batman cartoon and Aeon Flux. Or another anime series the likes of
which I haven't seen yet. I will let you know if I happen upon
something similar to what you saw, while leaving this question open.

Alright, but I'm just about 100% sure it's from anime, as that's
