A good place to start looking for an answer is to consider the
detection times for drug tests and for how long they can detect drugs
since their use. Steroids taken orally can be detected up to 3 weeks
after their consumption. Parenterally taken steroids can be detected
up to 3 month after use. 9 months in the case of Nandrolone. I have
discovered a few different reports of these detection times though,
with some websites claiming 14 days for orally taken steroids and only
1 month for injected steroids.
So I would suggest that you wait at least a month or two after you
come off the steroids before you can consider yourself 'clean' and can
plan to get pregnant.

Please bear in mind that I'm no doctor and I am only hypothesising
based on drug detection times. It would take only a quick phone call
to your doctor to ask him or her for confirmation.

If you live in the UK you can give the drug advice line FRANK a call
on 0800 77 66 00. Unfortunately I don't know any drug advice lines in
the States.

I hope this hels! :-)

I have just spoken to a drug advice line and they recommend that you
talk to the doctor who prescribed the steroids in the first place
since the time that they stay in your system varies a great deal
depending on the type of steroids taken, how they were taken and the
person who took them, the times I suggested earlier are a rough
estimate of how long steroids would take to disappear from your system
which is probably why there are discrepencies in my findings.

I wish you good luck with becoming pregnant and a very Merry Christmas!

spanky2k-ga is offering the best advice. This is a question that
should be discussed with your personal physician. There are steroids
that are quite safe to take during -- and before -- pregnancy whilst
others may cause harm to a developing baby. Your doctor can give you
specific answers as well as do blood screenings to make sure that your
system has processed the steroids.

This brings the added benefit of finding out if you should be taking
any supplements for any vitamins or minerals that you'll need during
the pregnancy. Folic acid is one nutrient that many women need more of
during pregnancy.

Speak to your doctor and good luck with your plans!
